Kicking & Skill Acquisition Workshop

Plan to Win is now conducting ‘Development Workshops’ and we have our first one scheduled for Wednesday 23rd June.

Aimed towards junior coaches, the topic will be Kicking, and we have secured the services of Simon Dalrymple from the Western Bulldogs to facilitate the workshop.

Simon Dalrymple has a strong teaching and sport science background and a vast coaching background. Recently he spent 5 years with the Northern Knights in the TAC before joining the Western Bulldogs as a development officer and then in season 2010 was appointed Recruitment Manager.

The session will reinforce that ‘kicking is king’ in today’s football and will focus on the importance of teaching the correct techniques from an early age.
